Our commitment and deep expertise is reflected across our team, and begins with our founder and Director of Innovation & Technology, Faith Davis.
Faith Davis is the Founder and Director of Innovation & Technology at DAF Technologies, where she helps clients solves their biggest challenges through the use of emerging technology. She is a dynamic and energetic speaker, passionate about inspiring and educating others on the latest in technology, start-up, and venture capital trends. Davis works with Howard University professors and alumni to promote STEM based entrepreneurship and innovation. She is also a reviewer of early stage startup funding applications and a loaned executive to help startups reach their next significant milestone with Maryland Technology Development Corporation.
Prior to DAF Technologies, Faith was a technology associate at In-Q-Tel a strategic venture capital firm where she focused on investments involving the mobile ecosystem. She has over 13 years of experience in technology development, strategy, and venture capital. Faith has worked at NASA, Lawrence Livermore National Lab, and The MITRE Corporation. She has developed deep expertise in the areas of wireless communications, networking, mobile applications, devices, and internet companies. She has published several technical papers and has been a speaker at technical conferences, technology focus days, commencements, women’s conferences, and affinity group meetings. Davis earned a B.S., summa cum laude, from Howard University and a M.S. from Stanford University in Electrical Engineering.

Franz Archibald is a Director at DAF Technologies. He advises and coaches management teams and entrepreneurs on the FinTech competitive landscape, product, market development, and intellectual property commercialization. Franz also consults on venture capital and private equity FinTech industry studies and FinTech M&A due diligence. In addition, he has 10+ years’ experience designing platform and competitive intelligence studies, developing product marketing programs, leading stakeholder and commercial negotiations, and establishing and managing FinTech partnerships and joint ventures.
Previously, Franz’s experiences include Senior Member, Corporate Strategy & M&A team at Bloomberg L.P., Global Head of Product Strategy at BGC Partners' Market Information division where he oversaw intellectual property commercialization efforts, Vice-President, Product Development, FinTech Innovation at Cantor Fitzgerald.

Dr. Christine D. Custis is a Director at DAF Technologies. She is an assistant professor at Shenandoah University in the Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business where she focuses on how enterprises should use information systems and technology to innovate and achieve organizational goals. Custis' distinguished career includes over 16 years experience with strategy, project management, and enterprise architecture. This has resulted in a plethora of technical publications and awards. She has worked at IBM, BearingPoint, and The MITRE Corporation among others. Custis earned a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Florida A&M, M.S. in Computer Science from Howard University, and a Ph.D in Business Administration from Morgan State University.
Dr. Floortje Blindenbach-Driessen is a Director at DAF Technologies. She is the founder of Organizing 4 innovation a firm which offers education, support, and tools to enhance the performance of innovators. Her focus is on improving the process of innovation. Floortje is a chemical engineer with her doctorate in innovation from Rotterdam School of Management. She has an excellent track record of facilitating organizations in their innovation and new service development efforts. She has worked with organizations such as Children's National Medical Center, Fluor, Georgetown School of Business and many others. Additionally, Floortje has outstanding experience in academia and has over 15 years of research in innovation management and has published several papers in international peer reviewed journals. She has taught management courses on innovation in the Netherlands, USA, Russia, Belgium, and China.
Dr. Ticora V. Jones is a Director at DAF Technologies. She is the founder of the the Higher Education Solutions Network (HESN) within the USAID Global Development Lab. She is a social innovator and expert on creating innovation ecosystems designed to build community, enable action and drive impact. Dr. Jones manages the HESN, an international university engagement program that she established in 2012. She seeks breakthrough innovations by sourcing, testing, and scaling proven solutions to reach hundreds of millions of people.
Dr. Jones brings a wealth of global experience harnessing ingenuity and innovation from university, government, and entrepreneurs. Prior to founding the HESN, Jones' exceptional experiences include an AAAS congressional fellowship, a Materials Societies Congressional Fellow for Senator Russell D. Feingold (D-WI), and post-doctoral research focused on creating and characterizing nanoparticle/composite-based functional materials at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Dr. Jones earned her BS degree in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and her PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
